Nathan Lunstrum was born in Seattle and grew up in the Cascade foothills of Washington State. He received a MFA from Washington State University in 2005.

Nathan currently resides in Tarrytown, NY with his wife, writer Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrum, and their two children.

He teaches digital photography at SUNY Purchase College and freelances.
